Correct me if I'm wrong. I have Mbps and get about what you get on PS4. Xbox uses my speeds completely and downloaded faster. I would recommend a new router and modem though. Unless you're using the home phone I'd stay clear of Gateways. You could put it into Bridge mode but even then I've ran into issues before and it can be frustrating. I have bought my own modem and router ASUS routers are great and never looked back. I think you have to go with a rogers modem so there is no choice but I will take a look at the Asus routers for the wifi.

I just find it odd that as soon as my connection was boosted my wifi speeds cut in half. Maybe its coincidence that the routers wifi just tanked but anything is possible with rogers.
